Types of pe pipe
LDPE stands for Low-Density polyethylene
Characteristics: HDPE pipe is heavy, rigid, and suitable to operate under high pressure while PE pipe for water, is commonly known as LDPE pipe which is flexible, lightweight, and includes a low-pressure system. They are suitable to install in complicated designs due to their tender nature.

Medium Density Polyethylene (Mid Density Polyethylene or PE80)

Process of PE Pipe
Raw Material Preparation: The production of PE pipe begins with the manufacture of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) resin, the raw material known for its high strength-to-density ratio. This resin is supplied in grape form and stored in silos before being fed into the production line.
Extrusion Process: The extrusion process is the process of manufacturing PE pipe. HDPE resin pellets are melted in an extruder, then heated by a machine that turns the pellets into a viscous liquid. The molten HDPE is then cooled and formed into a continuous pipe.
Cooling and Sizing: After the PE pipe exits the die, it enters a cooling tank filled with water. Cooling is a crucial step that helps strengthen the pipe and maintain its shape. The pipe passes through a sizing plate or vacuum compensation device to achieve the required diameter and wall thickness specifications.
Cutting and Quality Control: After cooling and sizing, the PE pipe is cut to the desired length using an automatic saw. Each pipe undergoes rigorous quality control testing to ensure it meets industry standards. Testing includes dimensional accuracy, pressure resistance, and surface finish.
Coiling and Packaging: Finally, pipe is delivered in coils or bundles for easy transportation and storage. Appropriate packaging ensures that the pipe remains undamaged during transportation.
